CityScope is a place for you to contribute your news, views and opinions, share advice and knowledge, and assist the website to provide a resource of helpful material that can benefit our community or promote discussion about topical issues. These articles provide an excellent PR opportunity for you and informative information for our readers.
Article Submission Process
Articles can be up to 800 words long and can include up to four photographs. For the best interests of the web, you should only upload images that are .JPEG or .GIF and less than 100KB in size.
Articles should address news, trends or analysis related to contributors area of expertise or interest.
Article should not include or promote the name of the contributor or organisation; the writer's byline should be the only thing that promotes the writer.
Any article headline should contain the subject name along with a hook that draws the reader's attention.
Try to keep article content as timeless as possible by avoiding future dates unless an article is for our events section.
Articles should be submitted to the section of Tauranga.co.nz related closest to the subject of the article.
Timeframe - timing is up to the writer, the more articles the more exposure.
All articles are vetted by a human eye to make sure they don't contain profanities or material of an unsuitable nature for a general audience, however we will never censor views or opinions - as an independent website it's our job to celebrate the different viewpoints held by all the community.
If you’re looking for answers to a problem, or want to create a discussion about something you feel strongly about, Tauranga.co.nz Voice is the place to start a bulletin board about your topic.
You’ll need to be logged in as a Tauranga.co.nz Member to contribute – either to add your own topic, or to post a reply to someone else.
Go nuts – let yourself talk freely and see what responses you get. After all, this website is “Just for Us”. We encourage you to create debate, and to use the forum as its intended – to help you communicate with others in your community for assistance or advice.
Please note that Tauranga.co.nz will not censor the views or opinions of any contributing members, however if there is something in the discussion forum that we deem not suitable for a general audience, we retain the right to remove or edit the entry.
