• The rating year starts on 1 JULY each year to 30 JUNE the following year.
• Rates and charges are inclusive of GST.
• Annual Rates are set in July each year.
• Rates are payable in two instalments and paid in advance.
  For the 2007/2008 rating year:
  1st installment penalty date is 31 Aug 2007
  (1st installment period is: 1 Jul - 31 Dec)
  
  2nd installment penalty date is 28 Feb 2008
  (2nd installment period is: 1 Jan - 30 Jun)

When are the rates notices posted to customers?

• Each year an assessment is sent on the 1st of August together with the 1st instalment invoice due on the last Thursday of August.
• The 2nd Instalment is sent on the 1st of February each year and is due on the last Thursday of February.
