Hey nice one ruff01  I gave up after 25 years too - on 3rd December 2008, cold turkey, and more than a couple of times thought to myself "are you NUTS giving up during the silly season??".  But hey once you've got through that Xmas/NY period, you know you can do anything eh!  And my first smokefree hangover was like "pfffft - call this a hangover?" A quick surf was all it took to deal to it!

Keep up the good work all you proud new ex smokers!

Congratulations Ruff001 - You have certainly done us proud - especially when you have literally done this all on your own without any outside help!!!!
Im glad that now you will be able to take a break and smell the roses!  I know I do now.   C:)

I am proud to announce that I am a non-smoker after 25 years! I stopped in mid-November and held up over the holidays with long summer days and drinks in hand. Yay me!
