How do I add an article to CityScope?
Answer
Become a member of Tauranga.co.nz and you are entitled to contribute articles, news, views and
opinions, share advice and knowledge.
Article Submission Process
-
Articles
can be up to 800 words long and can include up to four photographs. For
the best interests of the web, you should only upload images that are
.JPEG or .GIF and less than 100KB in size.
-
Articles should address news, trends or analysis related to contributors area of expertise or interest.
-
Article
should not include or promote the name of the contributor or
organisation; the writer's byline should be the only thing that
promotes the writer.
-
Any article headline should contain the subject name along with a hook that draws the reader's attention.
-
Try to keep article content as timeless as possible by avoiding future dates unless an article is for our events section.
-
Articles should be submitted to the section of Tauranga.co.nz related closest to the subject of the article.
-
Timeframe - timing is up to the writer, the more articles the more exposure.
-
All
articles are vetted by a human eye to make sure they don't contain
profanities or material of an unsuitable nature for a general audience,
however we will never censor views or opinions - as an independent
website it's our job to celebrate the different viewpoints held by all
the community.
